BIOGRAPHY OF AMRIT MAGHERA

Most of the times we see new comers in film Industry whose parents were actors in past or at present they still contributing skills of acting. For such new actors and it makes very easy for them to learn the technique of doing acting in front of camera. There are many few actors who really efore entering film industry.They join Academy of Film studies or Literature and get degree in acting. My article is on 1 actress, you can say she has devoted lot of time in learning subjects related to Film Industry. Though I don’t have much personal detail about this new actress but I try to contribute few important things of this actress to light. She is Amrit Maghera.

Though she looked skinny but her energy level was very good she could dance non stop for 15min vigorously. Soon she had joined Ballet and Tap dancing classes on professional level. Which was further continued for long time. It is said that she is very good in Ballet dancing. Later on she had joined singing classes on professional level. As each parent want there kids to talented so further other dance classes were joined by Amrit. In her IX grade she was center of attraction.

In college days, her behavior was same like school days. Even in college she was fun loving personality. She loves to do pranks and read jokes. Once she discussed about her future aim with her parents but she was worried, expecting negative answers from her parents. But it turned to be topsy-turvy, her parents put there step ahead to boost her confidence. They supported her to achieve her aim. Soon she had gained good confidence and further joined formal acting training academy in London. On same time she had joined small courses of fashion designing. During her college time she had Joined lots of other correspondence courses related to film industry and Modeling in UK. In start her focus was on Modeling. She had completed correspondence course related to modeling. During her college days she was noticed by lots of fashion Designers and she was offered to do cat walk on Ramp. Very soon Amrit had learned that she was very near to her aim, but she didn’t reduce her efforts from any angle. She kept putting efforts in each of her subjects which helped her to reach her goal.

Editorial experience

Amrit personally got experience of doing editing in leading magazines and done editorial for 8 leading magazines at a stretch and 9 magazines with breaks.
she had done editorial for total 17 magazines.
It was seen that Amrit was quite good in Modeling. Her charming face was caught by many Advertisement company. After doing little bit of modeling she started focusing on singing and stage show.

*She did 4 stage shows in Birmingham NEC.
*She did 1 show in Wembley arena

Amrit has completed her singing course in academy. As she got the talent of professional singing, she recently contributed her talent with few Int’l singers.

*she had a contract with EMI, she showed her talent by not only writing the song but also recorded her own album with XSS Girls Band.

*Further same album was altered, made solo for American Rapper “Co olio”
It was released in Europe, later they did together live tour.

*Same band with Amrita had contributed in supportingAkonLive Show in London.

Amrit on small screen and MTV and Zee TV.

On small Screen of Television, she has also participated in MTV Channel.
She has contributed in hosting-

* Body Rockers.
She has also contributed as new Anchor for the TOP 10 Countdown on Zee TV.
Later on she came in many small advertisements on T.V screen.

Amrit maintains her body before entering Film Industry

In 2007 she was approached by few directors for films, but it was said due to some problem in her body figure she was asked to reduce weight.
Soon she started practicing her dance, which was best means for her to reduce the weight. For two months she was was quite depressed and nervous because film producers had found a fault in her. But soon she started her dance practice and she cleared this problem. Very soon she managed to obtain her body figure as required.

Height—5’6”
59kg Weight—was reduced to 52kg.
Dark Hair--- turned to dark and light brown
28.5”waiste---was reduced to 25”
37”hips--- were reduced to33.5”
33”chest –was reduced to 31”

Other than daily ballet dance practice, she had joined few well known Bollywood HipHop dance course.
After 2months of hard core effort of dance practice she had managed to reduce lot of weight and then she was fully qualified in Hindi film Industry.

Amrit And Bollywood Facing Language problem
Though Amrit broke the ice by her first Bollywood Movie “Yuvraj” she was doing a very small role in this movie. Later on new problem had raised for her, it was spoken Hindi language. It is said that when she talks in Hindi it looks very artificial and it doesn’t support her body language. Due to which she lost almost 9 good offers.

But she didn’t stop here she showed her talent by acting in music video for artistOmkar.
It said that she has signed 1 German Movie and 2 Hollywood movies which are due to release 2011 August.

After her entry in Bollywood there was long line of company’s who wanted Amrit to do there product Advertisement.
She did add for-

*Lakme Face wash.

Recently in Dec 2010 she signed few contracts with different Indian cosmetic companies for Advertisement.
She has also taken few Advertisements of Soap companies.

Present Activities

Presently she is not stable; she frequently travels to meet her parents. When she comes to India, she stays in Mumbai with her family Friend in Juhu. In last 2 years she managed to speak in fluent Hindi language but still same problem is observed, her spoken Hindi doesn’t suit her body language. It doesn’t give Natural effect on screen test. Right from the childhood after her sickness she took lot of challenges in her life. Let us wait and watch, if she manages to tackle this problem.
